Litho Offset Printing Department

Litho Offset Printing is one of the oldest printing processes. It was invented by Alloys Senefelder.
In the earlier days of litho offset printing was done from litho stones. Therefore in those days, offset printing was also known as lithographic printing.

Modern offset printing is based on the principle that water repels grease and grease repels water. Here the image and the non image area lie on the same plane. The image area are made ink receptive while the non image area are made water receptive. At the time of printing the image area select the greasy ink while the non image area select water.
